[Solved] First Page of PDF

First, yes I searched +first +page +PDF and got back one reply that did not answer my question.

How can I get a single page PNG file of just the first page, be it the only one or one of many page PDF?

If needed I can elaborate.

Just go to the prefs part Open / Formats / Multipage and select "Open only first Page". So, all other pages will be ignored i.e. during a batch conversion.
