[Solved] "Original" Subdirectory

After upgrading to GC 12 I find that after editing photos I now have a new subdirectory called "Original". I'd never seen that before and don't really need it.

I spent some time with the manual and the settings, but I can't find out how to turn this off.

Please just give me the manual section that explains this.
