Hello!

I faced a very peculiar issue with GraphicConverter 12. My photos are stored at NAS (Freebsd + Samba share). When I try to change and save a photo using GC, I receive an error - "The file “20230101_073203.heic” couldn’t be saved in the folder “01”." At the same time a folder named "(A Document Being Saved By GraphicConverter 12)" appears in the said folder "01", so GC has write access. It seems to me that the problem is specific to shares, because I was able to update and save same photos locally. When I tried to enable "Overwrite originals in place" I received the same error and two photos were gone.
  • I use GC 12.0.2 (6105) from the site, macOS Ventura 3.2 (22D49).
  • GC was given the full file access.
  • Trashed preferences, nothing changed.
  • PS: I was able to "Save as" image as jpeg to the same, but when I tried to save as heic with a different name, I received the same error.
  • PPS: I can confirm that this issue affects only HEIC files when I try to save them to Samba share. No problems with PNG and Jpeg
In the Console I see the following errors:

Code: Select all
