Hi,
Recently upgraded to v. 11 from ancient version 5.x, mainly to be able to upgrade to 64bit in anticipation of moving to post-Mojave.
I've now upgraded to Monterey, and on the latest 11.8.1, but I've had a nagging problem since I upgraded to 11.
This is on mid 2015 MBP.
1. It seems pan/zoom is not working properly on rotated images inside slide show. It's not clear exactly how each symptom manifests, but they include:
-Inability to pan the photo at all (drag with mouse) unless I zoom in very, very, far until I'm looking at a tiny piece of the image. At intermediate zoom levels, the photo refuses to move, so I can only see the portion I zoomed to.
-Even if I can pan, the panning is very "sluggish" in one of the directions (usually vertical) and may not even be able to get to the edge.
(it's as if the program is confused about the X/Y dimensions of the rotated image.)
2. In old versions, the rotation "stuck" until you moved a few photos forwards/backwards through the slide show, so it's easy to flip back and forth between rotated images. This is no longer the case, and not only that, even pressing the 'fn' key on the laptop will cancel the rotation. (e.g. to adjust screen brightness) [I don't want to permanently change the orientation of the images, but it's handy to be able to keep them rotated when I am looking at them.]
3. zoom level changes with the trackpad "scroll" (two finger drag) work fine, but the same doesn't work with the mouse wheel "scroll" (standard USB scroll mouse wheel). I want them to work the same way.
Am I missing some settings, or did these features get removed?

Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
Hi,
1) I can't reproduce that here. Do you rotate with the L key?
2) The files are reloaded if you move forward or backward. So, any temporary rotation is lost.
3) Just press the option key and use the scroll wheel for zooming.

Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
1) I rotate with the a/s key shortcuts.
2) understood. I guess the back/forward behavior has otherwise "improved" since 5.x, so it's a tradeoff. It would be great if it could be brought back as an option, though.
3) Got it. Thanks.

Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
I just upgraded to an Apple Silicon machine running Ventura, and tried it here.
The behavior is the same, in case that helps track it down.

Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
Please recheck with build 6141.
Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
It appears I have 5786 and when I check for updates, it informs me that I have the latest.
Just in case you mean GC12, I downloaded that and installed it. It installed 6105, and it also informs me that it is the latest.
I poked around on the Lemkesoft site for other downloads, but did not come across other likely links. Am I missing something, or should I just wait until it's available?
(It appears GC12 also has the same problem.)
Re: Pan/Zoom rotated photos in slide show
I grabbed the GC12 Beta and it appears to be fixed there. Thank you.
Will the fix be back-ported to GC11, or do I have to upgrade to GC12 to get the fix?

Excellent. Thank you.
It works well now.
