Force Browser to load color profiles?

(I apologize if this has been addressed already… a quick search didn't reveal anything and I don't see how to do this in the Settings.)

Is GC able to load the embedded color profiles for the thumbnails in the browser? Many of my images are in ProPhoto RGB and they look awful in the browser. I'm assuming that sRGB is being imposed on all the thumbnails?? The color profile is being honored correctly in the Preview/Edit window.
