[Solved] Automator Contrast Hue Saturation results different than Application

Post by jamesmc »

Hello and good day,

I am using graphic converter 12.5.1 on mac os 10.14.6.

I have a workflow to process images with the graphic converter application that works well. I have tried to copy the tasks to an automator workflow but the results have been coming out very dark. I have narrowed this down to the 'Contrast Hue Saturation' action. When set to the same values as I use in the application program the entire image comes out very dark. Trying different values with the sliders always gives abnormal results.

I will try to upload example pictures including: 1 the original, 2 my normal results when using the application program, 3 the abnormal results when using automator, and 4 a screenshot of the automator workflow showing a normal before and abnormal after result.

I do not know if this is a bug or if I just do not understand how the settings work.

Thank you,
jamesmc
