Batch vs Manual scale gives different color results

I'm using GC 4.5 My original picture is 1600x1200 JPG taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950. When I try to resize the original picture to 640x480 with batch convert (scale, proportional, high quality) I get different results (more red) than when I try to resize the picture manually with Picture-> Size-> Scale.I have never noticed this before.
