System Crash - Help!

After several years using GC. I use it every day the same way, but yesterday I got a system crash using the new beta. I use autolevel, then Save As. After about three photos, GC asks me if I want to save before quitting. No matter what I choose, after a moment the screen freezes. Downloaded the latest final version 4.5.4. Deleted the preferences. Still the same. Ran DiskWarrior; still crashed. Ran Norton; the same. Am currently running Norton Antivirus. Any suggestions. I'm at a loss. Thanks. Dave David P.
