New Epson driver for Perfection?

A new (?) TWAIN-compatible driver for Epson Perfection scanners has been introduced. It's called "5.75 Trial 4". <http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/d ... twain.html> I use Epsons version 5.75a (with OSX10.2.5). It's been around for a while and works well with GC4.6, though I miss a histogram tool in the driver. I am kind of sceptic to download new trial stuff, and the description doesnt tell me much. Has anybody tried the new driver, and is there any difference? Thorleif
